Privacy Policy

Levera is built local-first: the sensitive parts of your work — call audio, transcripts, dictations, notes, your library — are processed and stored on your computer, in folders you can open, move, or delete. This policy explains the small set of data that leaves your machine and why. Data controller: Eduard-Iosif Caliman (Levera), Dubai, UAE — eduard@levera.app.

What stays on your machine

Call transcripts, recordings-derived text, dictation history, summaries, notes, screenshots, client memory, and your settings live in local files under your control. Uninstalling Levera or deleting those folders removes them. We run no analytics inside your documents and cannot read your local library.

What we store on our servers

When you sign in with Google we store your name, email address, and avatar, plus your subscription status (plan, billing period, trial state) and aggregate usage counters for plan limits (for example, cloud AI actions used this month — counts, never content). This lives in our backend (Convex) and is what makes your plan work across restarts and devices. The app also records a small set of first-party product-usage events — which setup step was reached, whether sign-in succeeded, the first time a feature was used — as counts and timestamps only, never transcripts or text, and never shared with third parties. They tell us where people get stuck so we can fix it.

Cloud AI requests

When you use a cloud feature (premium AI models, cloud transcription), the relevant text or audio is sent through our proxy to the AI provider fulfilling the request, processed to produce the result, and returned to your machine. We hold the provider API keys server-side; our agreements with providers do not permit using your content to train their models. Local (on-device) AI features send nothing anywhere. One exception to note: live-call cues (the lines Levera puts on your screen during a call) always use our cloud model through the same proxy, even in Private mode, because they need to arrive within seconds. Private mode keeps dictation, summaries, and rewriting on-device.

Payments

Purchases are processed by our merchant of record (Paddle). They handle your card details, billing address, and applicable tax — we never see or store your payment card information. The merchant of record’s own privacy policy applies to the checkout. We receive your subscription status and billing email so your plan activates.

Website forms

If you request a demo or subscribe to updates on levera.app, we store what you submit (name, email, message) to respond. Transactional and product emails come from levera.app addresses; you can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.

Website analytics

levera.app uses first-party analytics we built ourselves — no cookies, no third-party analytics services, no cross-site tracking. When you browse the site we record anonymous interaction events (which sections were viewed, whether the demo video was played, which pricing buttons were clicked), a random session identifier that exists only for your current browser tab, a shortened browser type string, and the campaign tag the visit arrived with (for example a link from one of our emails). These events contain no name, no email, and no way for us to identify you, and we delete them after 12 months.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data. We don’t run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking on levera.app. We don’t read your transcripts. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts, billing, and plan limits.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. Email eduard@levera.app to delete your account — we remove your server-side data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting (held by the merchant of record). Local data is yours; deleting it is instant and under your control.
